is one of the most enjoyable,
and most mystifying aspects
of playing out. For our final
Trio's gig in 2008, Whitey
thought the top three songs
would get us off to a good
groove and allow us to settle
in. We think it worked, and
you may be seeing this
opening act again in the near
future.

Desire by U2 is one of our
newer songs, and we are
pleased with how it is turning
out. For a little Deck Band
trivia, Low is the first song
we ever played together in
practice. It is now our key to
bring Kenny D up on the
bass.

much debate over whether
this classic was a dance tune
or not.

We have turned a few old
standards into a new medley
that we are still messing
around with. We finished up
this version with Kid Rock's
Sweet Home Alabama take
on the Skynyrd favorite, and
were happy to see that it
worked.
Are You Gonna Be My Girl
The newest song in the
band's repetoire, this power-
rock tune by Jet we think is
going to be a fan favorite.
