It's been a week or so since our last entry, so I'll (Whitey) try to get everyone caught up on what's new.
Many thanks to the folks that joined us at Trios. The band felt as if they were ready for a big night, but found the competition with the beautiful outside breeze at Trio's just a bit too much to overcome. Lessons were again learned however, as The Deck Band continues to pay dues and gain experience.
At Tuesday night's practice, the boys in the band were upbeat. We went over a few songs from Saturday we felt we needed to improve upon, hit Thin Lizzy's Boys are Back in Town pretty hard (nearly ready), and messed around with a few of the new tunes we voted in.
Speaking of, each bandmate also put forth their next candidates for The Deck Bands every growing arsonal. Here's what each man supplied.
