Ott's Postponed
Dear Deck Fans-
The Deck Band is sad to report that Sunday's upcoming rolling party at Ott's Tavern (7.15.2007) has been canceled.
Ott's management met with JR on Wednesday, and felt that since the bar hadn't promoted the event as well as they had planned, a postponement might be in everyone's best interest. That, along with the recent heat on the deck and chance of severe rain over the weekend all led to what is probably best for all parties.
The Deck Band apologizes for any inconvenience this may have caused to the DeckHead faithful, however Ott's was very upbeat in suggesting the band not only return to the Washington Township venue, but also to any of the other Ott's establishments in South Jersey. One step backwards, and two steps forward as we see it.
Look for an upcoming announcement on our re-scheduling there, and also check back late Thursday for some great pictures from this past weekend's Whitey Pool-Ooza festival.
