Hello Deck Band Follower-

It will have been one of the longest times between playing out in quite a long while for the Deck Band foursome, when they get back out to Trio's Tavern in Williamstown on December 6th.  The band had turned down an offer to play on Thanksgiving Even night at a Jersey Shore bar, in favor of the close to home neighborhood pub.  That's how things roll sometimes, so we are certainly looking forward to getting back out there and knocking off some rust the first Saturday in December.

With 2009 fast approaching, the band is seriously considering adding a 5th member for next year.  We'd like to add either an experienced guitar player, likeminded, who can also add to our vocal mix.  Another thought is to add an experience keyboardist with the same.  If anyone out there is interested in either slot, please let us know asap. 

In a perfect world, the new band member will posses some of the following qualifications.

Male or Female, 35-50.

For guitar players, no beginners please.  Lead ability and the ability to mesh with JR a must.

Knowledgable in gear, PA issues, and recording.

Overall:

Background vocals recommended, ability to lead even better.

No issues, preferably someone with day job and family.

Resides within 10 miles of Williamstown.

Can practice once a week, either a weeknight or weekend day or evening.

Can get up to speed with our setlist quickly, ideally someone who has played in a band with similar songs already under their belts.

Not email challenged.

The band isn't dead set on adding a member for 2009, but if someone should come to us that we know will fit right in we will seriously consider the move.  Again, if anyone knows of someone looking for a established band please have them contact us.
