| Song selection. The heart of The Deck Band. Below is the ever increasing song list of current tunes in our bag of tricks, and also a listing of past favorites. We have a pretty interesting way in choosing which songs to play. Whenever we need some new fresh tunes, each band member submits five songs to consider. Once the list is complete, each of us vote on the other members songs, using a 3, 2, 1 scoring system. Then all the songs are tallied up, and the top songs are given the green light for rehearsal. Each band mate is afforded a selection, so everyone wins. We try to get a good mix of party songs, and rock songs, or songs that we like playing. The real key is though... Will you like them? |

To be a really good cover band, you either have to be super tight, or be a lot
of fun. Since DECK is our hobby and not our jobs, the latter probably applies
to us.
What that means for you is this. If you invite DECK to play your party and
want to give singing a try, let us know. You want to join us on stage with a
guitar, keyboard, drumstick, or obo? Let us know. We'd love to share the
spotlight and get people involved in the Deck Party. We also welcome
requests from party-goers. The earlier you can let us know what you'd like to
try, the more time we get to practice and get ready.
