9th, the band was honored to usher in Deck Band HOF Cathie Shea's 40th celebration,
poolside in Marlton.  A perfect setting, most excellent weather, great food and drink, and a
crowd that was ready to party.  Yes, all the planets aligned...

The drummer has potentially created some Deck Band hams...
Teachers, friends, neighbors all got into the spirit.  Overheard in the
crowd was the great JAWS quote "That's a bad hat, Harry".
Mikey joined the Peterson Girls for a few
strong vocal moments as well.  Jill was there
for the band's first ever try at "Sweet Child
O' Mine".  Other first time songs on the night
included Journey's "Lights", U2's "Desire"
and the Eagle's "Lyin Eyes", with TC on
drums and Whitey on the 12-string...

Three days later, TC, Whitey, and CJ
White hit their 2nd Shea Event on August
11th in NYC.  Mets vs. Pirates, a 7-5
Pittsburgh victory due to a Mets bullpen
implosion.  What the heck, the photos go
