New Band Mates...
Williamstown, NJ (AP)-  The 11th annual Whitey Pool-Oooza was once again blessed
with great weather, great people, and lots of outdoor frolicking on Saturday July 7th.
Below, JR cranks out a tune during the four set performance under the big tent.
Clockwise displays bassman Murphy, Whitey in front of Old Glory, and TC beltin out
more vocals...
The Lost Highway girls team up with some Petersons during the 2nd set...
The Lovely Irene shows off her tambourine talents in front of center
stage...  Below, Irene during Wild Nights while Whitey Pool-Ooza's 2nd
fastest snow skier shows off his pipes during a rousing rendition of Vertigo.
The Mean Bean of the Mic above, while G keeps Jenny and T in tune...
(story continued)  Joshua once again claimed the honor as the youngest party-goer at the
Pool-Ooza, shown with mom and dad.  Allen gets special Pool-Oooza props for cleaning
out the roughly 1259 sparkler bodies in the rock garden the next morning, along with all
the other post pool-ooza poop...  CJ's (aka The Clam) rare dry moment teaming up with
Mom, outside the Pool-Ooza Cafe.
(more)  Above, Chip and Vinnie catch up on old Ski Trash times.  From the smile on
Chuck's face, he's into his 13th cup of suds.  Vinnie will be renamed "Vincent the
Patient" by partygoers nationwide...  On the right, the Lost Highway backup singers cart
their tambourines to the Booze Barn, which could evidently use some additional duct
tape...  Below left, special props go out to Mikey B., who arrived at his first pool-ooza on
his 10-speed.  Not a big deal, if he hadn't ridden 100 miles from Fair Haven NJ.  In the
backgroud, the PHA crew of Claudine, FREDOOO, Tank, and the young
Allanparsensproject.  ML Halv, next to Mike, just gets props for being hot...  Lower
right, two slices of Peterson on one big BEAN!
(and still more)  Nana shows off her best 'frock' after enjoying the kiddie swings with
Denise.  Many thanks as well to the Allentown posse of Kris (not shown) Amy, Linda and
Larry.
Above we see Sean Carey (son of Deck Band lead man TC) kicking back with a cool malt
beverage, while a whole new generation of 'Heads' pose for the cameraman.  The young
five above can be traced back to MRHS classes of 82 and 83...
I n   T r a i n i n g ...
(and finally, the page one finale...)  Eric and Mitch take a quick singing lesson from G,
who by now has this whole thing mastered...  The Deckettes were able to pull themselves
from the diving board to add background tambourine in the 3rd set...  The Peterson girlies
pause for a special moment in the Cafe, while darkness brought Maureen, sister Patty, Kim
and Danielle Bove to the Booze Barn for a refill.
